a man in a fur jacket sitting in a canoe

Based on this man’s appearance, where do you think he might live?

Post your answer

Sample answer: The man is dressed in very warm clothing, so he is likely from a very cold climate. He is in a kayak, so it is likely he lives near a river or sea.

Ask students to compare what he is wearing to how they dress for cold weather.
